The Swing Mini Collection is named after the dance and jazz music movement that originated in the U.S. and was popular in the 1940s. It is also symbolic to me that the 1940s and 50s were the peak of the development of abstract art in the United States. People’s mode of dress, their thinking and values, history, creativity and development in these years resonated in my perception of the world.

Each painting is painted to a particular musical composition popular in those years. The paintings touched on topics ranging from global challenges of the labor class and human freedom to personal – love and attitudes toward the world of each person. Each story is tied to a painting, is a puzzle that reveals the full vision of my message – “Listen to your heart, do what you love, enjoy the simple things, be kind, love and value your loved ones!”
